If YOU ARE A PARENT:

Join our effort by helping to organize youth to experience the classes. svetlana@horausa.com
Try the evolutionary method yourself.
WHAT
We are organizing parents to improve youth physical and mental stability without recreational substances or serious bodily injury. We need to ignite collaboration to scale impact locally and globally. To promote such collaboration, we are organizing a series of meetings and training event to set the ball rolling by May 31, 2022

WHY
Problems: Living through social uncertainty in a sedentary society teens and young adults are dealing with severe stress, depression, and anxiety. Many take sport or substances to resolve stress, but this approach leaves youth with physiological issues that interfere with their ability to start building their lives successfully as productive adults.

In spite of advancements in youth sports participation, and the taking of nutritional supplements, medications, and "recreational" substances in order to resolve stress, recent statistics suggests that the level of stress in our youth continues to increase.

According to the CDC, 25% of surveyed adults aged 18–24 reported experiencing suicidal thoughts in the past 30 days, as of June 2020. And, according to the 2019 Youth Risk Survey, in our local New Trier School District, one in three students — more than twice the national average — self-reported binge drinking in the previous 30 days.
WHO IS IT FOR
Youth/Teens ages 16 to 27
Young adults
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
  • Managing psychological, physiological-body tension, intellectual stress, and anxiety through training and application of evolutionary tools in day-to-day life.

  • Behavior and lifestyle change through an active, consistent training pattern.

  • Develop new friendships with like-minded individuals who want to convert stress into productivity.
WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE
If these problems are solved, then we would have communicative environments where bad moods are almost unheard of.

Then local youth will convert stress into a productive tool, which will enable them to become more productive and resilient in their personal and professional lives. The youth groups will become hubs for changing teen cultural attitudes toward mental health and physical well-being.

As the youth in the groups become stronger and better able to handle stress, their healthier attitudes should "catch on". More and more of their peers will get the message that there are productive ways to deal with stress and anxiety.
WHAT CHANGE IS NEEDED
Parents and youth need to know that there is an evolutionary solution to their problems and that it is possible to solve it. They have to go through the experience of classes to realize that the problem of excessive youth stress IS SOLVABLE!!!

There need to be leaders who understand how to overcome stress and transform it into productivity and show it to others. Then the personal vitality, creativity, and pliability of those individuals will drive this novel combination of Movements-Passion-Goals that will catalyze a solution to the problem of youth stress.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THESE PROBLEMS ARE SOLVED
If these problems are solved, then we would have communicative environments where bad moods are almost unheard of. Then local youth will convert stress into a productive tool, which will enable them to become more productive and resilient in their personal and professional lives.

The youth groups will become hubs for changing teen cultural attitudes toward mental health and physical well-being.

As the youth in the groups become stronger and better able to handle stress, their healthier attitudes should "catch on". More and more of their peers will get the message that there are productive ways to deal with stress and anxiety.

Because of this we are gathering data about what works and how.
WE ARE USING A SCIENTIFIC METHOD
I, Svetlana Bakla-Nova, Practice HORA Leader in the USA, an organizer of the HTS youth volunteer movement, recently entered Harvard Kennedy School of Government Executive Education in the program "Leadership, Organizing, and Action: A Leader of Change".

Program Goal: To learn how to be an effective community leader who mobilizes people and organizations for social and personal change.

My participation in the 12-week course/project will provide an opportunity to initiate and develop an "organizing campaign." The essence of this campaign is to mobilize adults to create a new wave of the international youth volunteer movement, HORA® Trance Sport.

Perhaps we are one of the last generations of Homo sapiens" -
The best advice I could give - is to invest in your own adaptability. All of your investment - learning a particular skill, such as programming - is a lottery.
You do not know for sure whether this or that skill will be useful to you, but in times of chaos you will definitely need emotional stability, the ability to survive all these changes. However, it is very difficult. I do not know of any university where this would be taught.
